On 28th December 2017 the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) of BiH celebrated 14 years of its existence and on that occasion plaques were awarded to individuals who provided exceptional contribution and assistance to this institution.
We are proud to say that one of the awarded individuals was Mr Rajko Skubic, Resident Twinning Adviser (RTA) in twinning project “Improving capacity of the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina”. This twinning project is financed by the European Union to the tune of 1,000,000.00 Euro from Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA 2014) and it’s being implemented by the Agency for European Integration and Economic Development (AEI) from Austria. Main purpose and objective of the project is to provide assistance to ITA BiH in drafting laws and bylaws in the area of indirect taxation and their practical implementation.
Project Leader in this twinning, Mrs Jasna Pavic, received the plaque on behalf of Mr Skubic who was unable to attend the ceremony. Both Mrs Pavic and Mr Skubic emphasize that this award is a result of great team work and wouldn’t be achieved without support and dedication from everyone involved in this project: Project Leaders and RTA, ITA BiH and member states’ experts who participate at the workshops, representatives of European Delegation in BiH, as well as twinning support teams in Austria and BiH.
